I found this article to be a rambling unfocused and ultimately unsatisfactory read that didn't approach an answer to the point made in the subtitle (why rural Canadians rejected the things urban Canadians voted for). The article goes on about the very real farming issues plaguing rural Canada, and certainly urban Canadians didn't vote against them.
